Growing up an artist & creator (2014-2016)
I started my career in the creative industry by self-teaching the use of 3D animation program Source Filmmaker by Valve. My work was recognized by popular creators such as Muselk and Uncle Dane, leading to being hired as their dedicated artist.
I also created my own content on YouTube, focusing on animation tutorials using the program and analyzing the game's virtual economy as a trade enthusiast at the time.
My original YouTube channel still exists today, as a reminder of my time as an artist and creator for Team Fortress 2.
Theater in high school
(2014-2018)
I developed a passion for theater production in middle school, starting as a theater technician using my MacBook and a Bluetooth speaker. In high school, I joined tech crew and became deeply committed, often staying late to perfect every aspect of a show.
I primarily worked as a sound technician, handling microphones and audio boards for musicals and presentations. I also spent time as a light technician, creating designs for shows. Eventually, I became head of tech crew, instructing other students on technical aspects of shows, including the difference between XLR and DMX cables.
Tech crew was where I discovered my love for live production, enjoying teamwork and supporting peers in their theater pursuits. Hearing applause after a show was the ultimate motivation to continue putting on shows. You can find the VODs of the four major musicials I worked on down below.
Esports in college (2019-2022)
I quickly joined the first gaming club I could find in college known as the Gaming Gators and started off as a League of Legends player on the starting roster. Before I knew it I was asked to lead the team and eventually would climb the ranks to become the President of the club for a few years rebranding the club from the ground up.
I also took over as the production lead making sure that as many games from our teams and events were able to be broadcasted for the world to see. This led to developing the first ever production and media crew for the club that included over 20+ staff members that were all taught and instructed by myself.
Working at Evil Geniuses (2021-2022)
I landed an internship at Evil Geniuses as a production intern for the past two years, where I've been able to grow my passion for live and post esports production, learning from some of the best industry experts, and meet peers who share my passion for the field.
I quickly worked on multiple six-figure activations with partners like LG, producing and operating large collegiate tournaments and events with celebrities. I was directly responsible as editor and producer for major launches, such as LCS introductions for 2022, which led to a championship title.
Working at Evil Geniuses for the past years sparked my passion for creating the best esports narratives through digital media. I was given many opportunities to work with industry leaders and shape stories in the scenes that I had previously only been a fan of.
